Graduation

On May 29th I got to wear some fancy garb and take part in a very old tradition.  I figured why not?  Here is the proof that I am now Dr. McNelson.  Overall it was a happy day and a good visit with my parents.  I got to hold the official UBC "mace" which is a beautiful first nations carving.  That was actually quite an honour.
